Purpose of fire

Purpose of fire - retelling of How coyote stole fire

I wasn’t sure if I get time to do this, but when this idea hits me, I decide to make one more entry anyway. I decide to change a lot with story of coyote. I name him Naiche with means mischief maker. When in spring and summer coyote was stealing food from indians and had fun, he was very happy but then one day he start to notice that people are have so little that he was feeling guilty. First he sees that trees  losing their leaves and he was unable to undarstand why this is happening, and later on an unknown white thing was falling from the sky and indians were shaking from cold. He befriended frog with that told him that this thing is snow, and soon he would have to go to sleep, but people have to suffer whole winter, and only fire spirits can help them. Fire spirits are living outside human relm and comes down to earth only from time to time. No one really knows when and why they doing so.

Naiche gets on adventure to find fire spirits, but it turns out that they are cruel beings that loves to cost other pain. Every spirit have it’s call, like spirit of fire that burns households or the one who always travels with spirit of thunder. They captures coyote and frog and puts them in a cage. But there's one spirit of fire who don’t know what her call is. She doesn't have a name yet, since no one know her purposes, and she is young and curious being. When she overheard how coyote was begging for help, her heart move. She decide to release him and go with him to human world a place she was never before. Unsure if she is doing right thing, but then again, in her home she is always bullied for being useless. While she met humans she start to grow affection for them, making their life easier. Helping them with cooking and keeping them warm and safe. She became spirit of  hearth and home, and people in return gives her name Nayeli with means “I love you”.
I know those names comes from different languages and tribes, but then again I liked their meaning and sound of them so much that I used them anyway. We can always make up whole culture and base in on real one, right?
